Terms & Conditions Algemene voorwaarden
Scope
These terms apply to all services provided by Michelle Beeckman VOF (VAT BE 0660.886.239), Posteernestraat 17 C, 9000 Ghent, Belgium: makeup and hair services (including weddings and private bookings), workshops and masterclasses, and access to online course materials through the member area. For film, television and commercial productions, separate written agreements may apply; where they do, those agreements prevail.
Bookings and payment
A booking is final once confirmed by Michelle Beeckman. Payment is by invoice within 14 days, unless agreed otherwise. Listed prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Cancelling a workshop
You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before the workshop date; after that, the full amount remains due. You can always pass your spot to someone else — just let us know. If there are too few participants or in case of force majeure, the workshop may be rescheduled or cancelled; you will be offered a new date or a full refund.
Weddings and private bookings
The cancellation and payment terms for weddings and private bookings are stated in your quotation or booking confirmation. If nothing specific was agreed, cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before the booked date; after that, the full amount remains due.
Course materials and member area
Your student account is personal; sharing login details is not allowed. All course materials are protected by copyright and are provided for your personal use only. Downloads are watermarked with your account details. Sharing or redistributing materials is prohibited and may lead to termination of your access, without refund.
Allergies and skin sensitivities
Please let us know in advance about any allergies or skin sensitivities. Professional products are used with care, but treatments remain at your own risk if relevant information is not shared.
Liability
Participation in workshops is at your own risk. Liability is in all cases limited to the amount of the booking, except in case of intent or gross negligence.
Photos
We sometimes photograph our work for the portfolio or social media. If you prefer not to appear recognisably, just tell us — we will take it into account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes will be submitted to the courts of the district of Ghent. Last update: 22 August 2026.
Toepassing
Deze voorwaarden gelden voor alle diensten van Michelle Beeckman VOF (btw BE 0660.886.239), Posteernestraat 17 C, 9000 Gent, België: make-up- en haardiensten (waaronder bruiloften en privéboekingen), workshops en masterclasses, en toegang tot online cursusmateriaal via de ledenzone. Voor film-, televisie- en commerciële producties kunnen afzonderlijke schriftelijke overeenkomsten gelden; in dat geval hebben die voorrang.
Boekingen en betaling
Een boeking is definitief na bevestiging door Michelle Beeckman. Betaling gebeurt via factuur binnen 14 dagen, tenzij anders afgesproken. Vermelde prijzen zijn inclusief btw, tenzij anders aangegeven.
Een workshop annuleren
Annuleren kan kosteloos tot 7 dagen voor de workshopdatum; daarna blijft het volledige bedrag verschuldigd. Je plaats doorgeven aan iemand anders kan altijd — laat het ons even weten. Bij te weinig deelnemers of overmacht kan de workshop verplaatst of geannuleerd worden; je krijgt dan een nieuwe datum aangeboden of het volledige bedrag terug.
Bruiloften en privéboekingen
De annulerings- en betaalvoorwaarden voor bruiloften en privéboekingen staan in je offerte of boekingsbevestiging. Is er niets specifieks afgesproken, dan kan je kosteloos annuleren tot 14 dagen voor de geboekte datum; daarna blijft het volledige bedrag verschuldigd.
Cursusmateriaal en ledenzone
Je studentenaccount is persoonlijk; logingegevens delen is niet toegestaan. Al het cursusmateriaal is auteursrechtelijk beschermd en uitsluitend bestemd voor persoonlijk gebruik. Downloads krijgen een watermerk met je accountgegevens. Materiaal delen of verspreiden is verboden en kan leiden tot stopzetting van je toegang, zonder terugbetaling.
Allergieën en huidgevoeligheden
Meld allergieën of huidgevoeligheden vooraf. Er wordt zorgvuldig gewerkt met professionele producten, maar behandelingen blijven op eigen risico wanneer relevante informatie niet gedeeld werd.
Aansprakelijkheid
Deelname aan workshops gebeurt op eigen risico. De aansprakelijkheid is in alle gevallen beperkt tot het bedrag van de boeking, behalve bij opzet of grove fout.
Foto’s
Soms fotograferen we ons werk voor het portfolio of sociale media. Wil je niet herkenbaar in beeld komen, zeg het gerust — dan houden we daar rekening mee.
Toepasselijk recht
Op deze voorwaarden is het Belgische recht van toepassing. Geschillen worden voorgelegd aan de rechtbanken van het arrondissement Gent. Laatste update: 22 augustus 2026.
